Course summary

The control of substances hazardous to health regulations (COSHH), gives employees a sound understanding of their responsibilities for controlling hazardous substances. This includes understanding the routes of entry into the body, the risk of exposure and likely effects and the principles of control measures.

• How to identify chemical, biological and physical hazards in the workplace.
• Understanding hazard symbols.
• The practical use of control measures.
