Course summary

This course provides delegates with an understanding of the legal requirements for managing asbestos in schools and the practical steps needed to manage asbestos-related risks effectively. Participants will learn about the local authority’s asbestos policy and guidance, including the code of practice, and how to implement, monitor, and review a local asbestos management plan (LAMP). The course also covers how to plan and manage maintenance, refurbishment, and other works that may involve the disturbance of asbestos-containing materials.
