Year six pupils at Tuxford Primary Academy had an amazing opportunity to participate in a 3D experience last week – they ‘travelled’ to the Chichén Itzá in Mexico! Chichén Itzá is a World heritage site and has been voted one of the new seven wonders of the world.
The children were able to see some of the brilliant ruins of the ancient city that were once the Maya empire of Central America.
Year 6 would like to thank Mrs Cupit for arranging this – as one of the children said: “It was one of the most amazing experiences I have had.”
