Inclusion
Lucy is director of education for inclusion encompassing support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as those facing a wide range of barriers to learning and achievement. This includes pupils who may experience disadvantage, vulnerability, or other circumstances that impact their ability to fully access and engage in education.
Lucy is a highly experienced educational leader with over 20 years of expertise across primary and special education. She is deeply committed to developing school leaders and providing focused, purposeful support that secures sustained school improvement.
Throughout her career, Lucy has demonstrated a strong track record of building leadership capacity, raising educational standards and promoting excellence across diverse educational settings. She brings extensive experience in supporting schools to create inclusive environments where every pupil is valued, supported and empowered to succeed. Her work is underpinned by a commitment to equity and excellence, ensuring that all children, regardless of their starting point or individual needs, have access to the support, opportunities and high-quality educational provision required to thrive, fulfil their potential and experience success.
