Trustee

Catherine is a trustee of Diverse Academies Trust.

Catherine is an experienced governor, having served as chair of governors at Tuxford Primary Academy prior to her appointment to the Trust Board. She has extensive experience of working in the voluntary and community sector – following an earlier career in the food manufacturing industry – and has a proven track record of cross-sector partnership development, local system leadership, and quality service design and delivery.

Catherine actively supports a number of local charities and is a board member of the Bassetlaw Food Bank, Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw, The Crossing, Centre for Sport and Learning CIC, Worksop Charities and represents the voluntary and community sector as chair of the Bassetlaw Integrated Care Partnership. Catherine is also a further education governor at RNN Group.

Catherine lives with her family in the east of the district and has been a North Nottinghamshire resident for over forty years. She is passionate about making a difference in the education community by utilising her significant executive leadership experience, a passion for volunteering and a personal commitment to social action and inclusion.
